Andrea VILLAMIL (B. 1991) Nyc
Authentic storytelling + travel inspired artist based in New York, born and raised in Queens, New York City. Studied filmmaking at The New School and NYU-SCPS, 2010-2013. Spent about four+ years documenting and projecting compelling stories through a raw and empowering perspective while traveling. Filmed/photographed in India and Kingdom of Bhutan in 2016 as cinematographer for the continuation of award-winning documentary short film, Searching for Shangri-La. Worked in film productions/photoshoots for live events, behind the scenes on commercial sets, and branded content including JetBlue, NBA, and Bobbi Brown. Edits and colors own work.
